How to Cook Boneless Turkey Breast Roast
- Preheat oven to 180° C
- Fill oven proof tray with a cup or two of water
- Sit turkey on oven rack in tray filled with water (make sure water isn’t touching the rack/turkey)
- Wrap the tray in alfoil
- Cook for 30 mins per 500g.
- Remove foil with 30 mins to go of cooking time so skin browns
- Allow to stand for 15 mins before slicing.
COOKING METHOD 2
- Preheat oven to 200° C.
- Place turkey in oven proof tray and bake for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes reduce heat to 180° and bake for 50 minutes per kg.
- Once cooked, remove from oven and allow to stand for 15 minutes before slicing.
- Remove netting from turkey and slice.
TIP: If using a thermometer, cook to a core temperature of 75°C. Cooking time may vary depending on oven so checking with thermometer throughout cooking is advised.
