Asian Style Osso Buco

Serves: 6 – 8


  • 2kg veal osso buco click here to order
  • 1/2 cup (190g) hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup mirin
  • 2 x 3cm pieces orange rind
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 25g grated ginger
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil


1. Place veal osso buco in slow cooker.
2. Combine remaining ingredients in large jug; pour over osso buco.
3. Cook covered on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
4. Serve on a bed of rice or mashed potato drizzled with sauce.
