Spaghetti Carbonara
Serves: 4
Ingredients
4 rashers bacon diced and trimmed
1 tsp coarse milled black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil or butter (personal preference)
½ tsp powered chicken stock
½ packet spaghetti
Carbonara Mix
1 egg beaten
2 tablespoons cream
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
1 tsp chopped parsley
Method
1. Mix carbonara ingredients together in jug
2. Cook spaghetti according to instructions on packet
3. Heat olive oil or butter in pan and add bacon, cook until crisp
4. Add cracked pepper and powered chicken stock and mix
5. Add cooked spaghetti and mix
6. Add carbonara mix slowly to ingredients stirring as you add it.
7. Serve
